Marilyn Pupo-Guillen, M.D. was born in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of congressman and housewife, who at the age of 3 months, had to flee with her parents to Miami, Florida for political persecution. She grew up in South Florida. Dr. Pupo-Guillen is in private practice along with her husband who is also a psychiatrist.
